Hello, I am Darlene Taylor and serve as your State Representative for Georgia House Seat 173. I am seeking re-election for the District and currently represent you as the Chairman of Information & Audits, and Member of the Appropriations Committee, Member of the Agriculture and Consumer Affairs Committee, Member of the Governmental Affairs Committee, Member of the Insurance Committee, Member of the Transportation Committee, and Member of the Public Safety & Homeland Security Committee.

My legislative pledge is best characterized by the following Dwight D. Eisenhower quote: May we pursue that which is right without self-righteousness. May we know unity without conformity. May we grow in strength without pride in self. May we, in our dealings with all peoples of the earth, ever speak truth and serve justice.

ISSUES

My political beliefs mirror the Founding Fathers' as detailed in the United States Constitution for freedom of speech, freedom of religion, free enterprise, and the right to keep and bear arms. I am pro business, pro life and for smaller government.
